# API reference

The distribution REST API: the base URL, authentication, scopes, errors, and one page per endpoint built from the API's own contract.

## Base URL

Every endpoint lives under `https://app.distribution.tech/api/v1` and answers JSON. The machine-readable contract is the [OpenAPI document](https://app.distribution.tech/api/v1/openapi.json); every endpoint page here is generated from it.

## Before your first call

## Endpoints

The left column lists every endpoint by group: inventory and audience, campaigns, plans, creators, evidence and results, and feedback. Each page has its parameters, request and response bodies, the scope it needs, a curl call, and the MCP tool that does the same thing.

## Versions

The API answers its version in the OpenAPI document's `info.version`. What changed in each release is in the [API release notes](https://distribution.tech/docs/changelog/api).
